My humble beginning

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

Alhamdulillah, with Allah's blessing, finally i have the chance to create my very own blog....

Since i was little, I am very fascinated with rich people.....I am fascinated by their lifestyle, the houses, mansions, penthouses, luxury cars, private jets, swimming pools, luxury travel destinations etc.....

My parents, they live modestly...my father was a teacher...he tought arabic in a local school...my mother was a fulltime housewife...and did a little part time business by opening her own salloon at our home....

When I was little, we were tought that we have to save money, live modestly.....my mom always reminded me, although we don't have a lot of money, we also don't have any debts....we always lived modestly...we eat at home, because it was cheaper that way....I am thankful that we had everything we need....a nice home, its a 2 story terrace house....2 cars, abundant food, proper clothing, always new, never 2nd hand, alhamdulillah....and among the best education that any child could hope for...

My parents believes in high education. My parents were Singaporean....when Malaysia & Singapore merged into a county back in the 60-s...my father had a job as a teacher in Klang, Selangor. When Singapore was taken out of Malaysia, they stayed here and became Malaysian Citizens. The reason is simply because, my father believed that his children had a better chance having a great education in Malaysia compared to Singapore. Back then, it was very tough for a Malay to enter a University in Singapore...If all of his children have University degrees, the life will become better, because all the professional jobs and high paid salary are the ones who have a university degree.

While teaching in Klang, my father took a part time study in a local University. He was 40 when he recieved his Bachelor Degree....He believed that if he could do it at the age of 40, his children will have no excuse to further studies in University. He sent all of us to the best schools available....made sure we got good education. He believed boarding school is the best place for students to go to University. All 4 of us went to boarding school.....Alhamdulillah, all 4 of us went to University. 2 of us became medical doctors, One became a school teacher and I graduated as a Bachelor of Applied Science and became a Government Officer.

All my life, I never heard the word "Financial Freedom" and "Passive Income". I never heard of it before. Such word don't exist in my vocabulary....no one tought it in school, my parents never mentioned it.....I first heard these 2 beautiful words in a Herbalife Opportunity Meeting in September 2009. I was 31 years old.

What is Financial Freedom? Jim Rohn, the great business philosopher described it as "The ability to live your desired lifestyle on your personal resources".....T.Harv Eker, the author of the book "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" describes it as "The Ability to live the lifestyle you desire without having to work, or rely on anyone else for money".

Income without work is called PASSIVE INCOME. You become truely FINANCIALLY FREE when your passive income EXCEEDS your expenses.

Why do I need to become Financially FREE? Everything and Everyone has a purpose. Everyone has their reasons. I learned recently that the main purpose of everything we do is to find Allah's blessings...We are created by God as his servant and HIS administrator....With great purpose, we have great responsibilities....They are too many things in this world that needs money....the mosque, the schools, children in need, teachers, students, buildings, transportations etc etc etc....all need money to finance....In Islamic History, Abdul Rahman Auf was a wealthy businenessman and he has a major contribution for the development of Islam. My reason among many reasons to become Financially Free, I have a mother that needs money to support her living and also a grandmother that is growing very old that need medical attention....my children...we need to give them the best environment for them to grow up in the best possible condition for their mental, physical, spiritual growth.....As a Muslim, I need to help other Muslims in need.....those who can't help themselves...orphans, the weak, the poor, the sick etc etc etc....The prophet, Nabi Muhammad S.A.W said, The Hand that gives is better than the Hand that recieves.....I am the only son in my family. I need to become a better son, a better husband, a better father, a better leader in my organization....to set a better example for my family, my society, my religion, my country.....

Alhamdulillah....I have found my purpose in life...Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...Ya Allah, with your blessings, please give me the strength.....my journey begins....

I am now 34 years old.....this is my journey to become financially free. Ya Allah, before the age of 40 years old, I shall become Financially FREE and carry out my mission to help my society improve their lives, health & wealth.....Its because you Ya ALLAH, to earn your blessings & BARAKAH...

Your Faithful Servent.
